Vegetation Management Technician - MN
Location: Northfield, Minnesota

Pay: $18-$23/hour, depending on experience

About Cannon Valley Graziers: At Cannon Valley Graziers (CVG), we provide land management services for solar energy and conservation projects across the Central and Western United States. Our mission is to improve biodiversity, soil health, and ecological function through the use of targeted grazing and complementary land management services. Our team is made up of shepherds, farmers, ecologists, and operators working together toward a shared reimagining of how livestock, people, and landscapes can coexist. Position Summary: We are seeking hardworking and motivated operators to help support our vegetation management operations in Minnesota. Technicians will work with their crew to perform mowing events on solar projects throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. Ideal candidates will have experience operating farm equipment such as tractors with implements, skid loaders and zero-turn mowers, as well as a strong commitment to safety and communication.
Schedule & Work Environment:
Typical workload is approximately 40–50 hours per week;
Outdoor work in heat, humidity, and variable weather;
Travel between local project sites required, some overnight trips required.
Strong candidates for this position:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent;
Are capable of safely operating heavy equipment (Tractors, Skid Loaders and/or Zero-Turn Mowers);
Are team-players & clear communicators
