Integrated Forestry Management
Our forestry restoration work is centered on supporting resilient and stable forest and oak savanna ecosystems.
In the upper midwest, we primarily focus on understory management and invasive species control, using a coordinated mix of targeted grazing, mechanical removal, and selective herbicide application. This integrated approach allows us to address both immediate biomass reduction and long-term regrowth control. Our approach emphasizes a reduction in herbicide application; through the targeted grazing .
Throughout the western states, we use targeted grazing as a tool to reduce fuel loads, and help communities and land managers reduce wildfire risk.
